Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
