Bolsonaro has been arrested after authorities determined he posed a concrete flight risk while under domestic detention.

The ex-president was convicted of plotting a government overthrow in the ninth month and given more than 27 years in jail, but he continued under house arrest pending court reviews.

High Court Judge the presiding justice said the decision to arrest the elderly politician was a preventative measure after fresh information were revealed.
